Experimenting with colour processes
In these workshops children will use the MACS Quilts exhibition on the walls as inspiration. On Tuesday, Leya and Jutta will help children to experiment with processes to add colour to fibres and materials. On Wednesday children will construct their own mini quilts from prepared materials and add recycled objects.

Making a Whimsical Wooden Object
Children will use the FUSION exhibition as inspiration. On Thursday, Bruce, Gill and Sue will guide children to construct an imaginative but useful object from shaped wooden pieces. On Friday they will provide interesting materials with which children can embellish their creations.

From the Director's Desk
One of the things which make our working lives exciting is working on special projects. I have worked consistently during the past year on a retrospective exhibition for the artist, Diamond Bozas, which will open in the Gallery in early August this year, the month in which he turns 90.
